Ax-Man's Pandemic Policies and Curbside Pick up
Like many businesses these days, we have some new rules that our customers and staff must follow if they are to enter THE AX-MAN. These are in place for everyone’s safety, and we greatly appreciate your help in keeping our stores fun for everyone!
Customers are required to wear face masks/adequate facial coverings in order to shop. Children under the age of 2 and those who are medically unable to wear masks are exempt. When available, we will have disposable masks for $1 should you forget yours at home.
We ask that you limit your party size to as few as possible to keep traffic manageable.
Customers must practice social distancing and maintain a 6 ft space between themselves and other shoppers while in the store.
We also ask that touching/handling of products is kept to a minimum to reduce cross-contamination.
If you are experiencing any fever, cough, or flu-like symptoms, please wait to visit until you are feeling better.
At this time, we will no longer be accepting returns.
If customers do not follow these requests, they may be asked to leave. While we understand this will be a difficult adjustment for many, we must all do our part to maintain a safe environment for our employees and our shoppers. If you or a loved one can’t come into one of our physical stores, well then there’s an option for you too… (drum roll, please!)
We are introducing Ax-Man curbside service! While we can’t really offer many of our wares “to-go,” we sure will try! To set up a curbside order, simply follow these steps:
1.) Email us at email@example.com. Include a photo of the item you’re looking for. Try to include a price sticker if you still have it. Tell us how many you want. There is a $15 minimum. Make sure the email you use is one you have easy access to, as we will be sending your invoice to that address.
2.) Check your email for an invoice from our shopify store. Use our secure checkout to pay for your order.
3.) Check your email again for payment confirmation and to schedule your pickup time. Follow any instructions included in your confirmation email. \
4.) Come get your stuff! It’s that simple!
Due to the complexity of our selection, we can’t guarantee that curbside will be a viable option for all. However, we will do our best to work with everyone who needs their surplus fix. Also, at this time we are only offering curbside service at our St. Paul location, but we can ship nationally through our webstore!
For those of you looking for something a little more… specialized, our eBay account may be just the place for you! Oftentimes, we get the weirdest of the weird when it comes to surplus. Unfortunately, our retail floor is a treacherous place for delicate rarities, and they simply don’t get the love and respect they deserve. To fix that, we started selling them on eBay, where they are kept safe and sound until they are shipped to their forever home. See something of ours you like? Place an offer! While all transactions have to go through eBay, we are more than happy to arrange for local pickup for those of you in/around the Twin Cities. CHECK IT OUT!
